Fort Bragg is "Home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces" and is one of the largest military installations in the world. Over 57,000 military service members work at Fort Bragg.
It is home to the XVIII Airborne Corps, Headquarters of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), U.S. Army Reserve Command, 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 525th Military Intelligence Brigade, 16th Military Police Brigade, 44th Medical Brigade, 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB), and numerous other tenant units. It hosts Pope Field, the 43rd Airlift Group, and other associated units.
Fort Bragg is located northwest of Fayetteville, and Spring Lake is just outside of North Post. There are many places to live within just a few minutes of the Fort Bragg gates.

Camp Lejune is the home of "Expeditionary Forces in Readiness." It spans over 153,000 acres and consists of several satellite camps. Over 38,000 service members and 3,000 civilian personnel work at Camp Lejune.
It is a training base and serves as home to II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, Marine Corps Combat Service Support School, Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Installations-East, Marine Special Operations Command, Naval Hospital Camp Lejune, and numerous other tenant units.
